From Our Founder

Z-era began long before it became a brand.

As a child, I spent time with my grandfather, who was a doctor. He used to make simple skincare at home — carefully, patiently, with ingredients he trusted. There was no complexity to it, no excess. Just intention.

I didn’t realize it then, but that experience stayed with me.

Years later, I chose to study formulation science. I learned how skin functions, how the barrier protects us, how inflammation begins, and how easily it can be triggered — especially in sensitive skin.

And at the same time, I was experiencing that sensitivity myself.

I tried products that promised results, but often left my skin feeling worse — irritated, overwhelmed, and reactive. It made me question something fundamental: if skincare is meant to help, why does it so often feel like too much?

That question became the foundation of Z-era.

I didn’t want to create something louder or stronger. I wanted to create something more thoughtful. Something that works with the skin.
